i’ve just returned from a lovely holiday in Cornwall, doing the usual touristy bits, visiting my family and kayaking…
whilst down there, one thing on my list of places to visit was Poppy Treffry’s new shop in St. Ive’s, what a perfect location for such great pieces. although i did struggle to find it at first, as it is tucked at the back of the Drill Hall, just off of Chapel Street, it is definitely worth hunting for!
i only discovered Poppy’s delights a couple of years ago, and ever since then she has become an inspiration to me! i have always dreamt of having my own shop, after doing the business plan for my dream shop ‘made in the uk’ ( a shop/gallery that showcases british craft and art talent) i discovered that it will have to be a distant goal as the overheads would be so high! i admire any people that have actually made this a reality and i wish one day i will be able to achieve my ultimate dream!!
