not long now until the ‘festival of crafts’ at the Farnham Maltings, i have set myself a goal of making a bird a day until the festival, i’m already a bird behind, eek!
very excited as this will be my first outing for my new work (the birds), looking forward to seeing what sort of impressions they make, fingers crossed they go down well!!
i noticed today that there are quite a few exhibitors that i’m very looking forward to seeing…
Priscilla Jones ( i first saw Priscilla’s work whilst I was still at art college, i absolutely love her style, i think she was one of my inspirations for going into textiles )
Gabrielle Vary ( i’m lucky enough to say that I went to university with Gabi, beautiful knitted treats that are perfect for this time of year, the perfect winter thought – snuggling up under one of Gabi’s knitted blankets infront of an open fire)
