bunting seems to have been ‘top on trend’ for a long period of time, from starting as a staple for school fetes it has made its way into many people’s homes and gardens (including my studio)…
everybody loves bunting, and these finds on etsy show that people are being ever more adventurous with the classic design….i’m loving the mini cake bunting…
best of all, as one of my great loves is being as environmentally friendly as possible, bunting is a great solution to using up scraps of fabric, old books, vintage papers, making something new and practical out of something old…
why not make a bespoke piece of bunting out of pages of an old favourite children’s story, with the bunting pieces in the shape of letters of someone’s name – an ideal individual Christmas pressie…
