my first memory of Abigail’s work was seeing her butterflies on the cover of ‘embroidery’ magazine, and ever since then I have been a huge fan…
recently i have discovered a new love of birds and her bird sculptures give me goosebumps!
i would absolutely love to own one Abigail’s bird’s but the hardest part would be deciding which one!!
each bird that she makes (even if replicated) will never be the same, making each one a unique treasure…
just like my sewn birds, even if i try to re-do the same bird it always looks slightly different, giving each bird its own personality…
